“The Board of Directors has been very concerned with the effect this pandemic has had and will continue to have on our community. We live in Conshohocken, these are our friends and neighbors that have been significantly impacted. It was our duty as Board members and members of this community to try to come up with a way to help ease the financial burden, in any way that we can,” said Board President Carol Smith. The Board of Directors is committed to continuing to help residents and business owners in the community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected each and every resident and business in the Conshohocken community. Over the past several days, at the direction of the Board of Directors, the Borough of Conshohocken Authority’s staff and professionals have worked hard to develop a plan to help the residents and small businesses that are most acutely feeling the impacts of this unprecedented crisis. The Authority has already ceased any and all water shut offs for significantly delinquent accounts, but recognized that this would only help a small portion of the community. Therefore, the Board of Directors charged the Authority staff with finding more ways to help a much larger segment of the community. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that beginning Friday, April 3, 2020, all payment deadlines for direct customers of the Authority will be extended for ninety days, as indicated in the below timetable. This includes the early pay discount as well as the face value time periods, for all billing cycles in 2020. This does not apply to bulk customers, and the Authority is not able to refund any payments already made for the first quarter billing.
